About the Priestess in Progress

A Pagan priestess on an eclectic, solitary, and deity-centered path.

I’m Kahina Sharratim (literally: “priestess of the Queen”), devoted to the Red-Blooded Goddess—a deity of aliveness through sovereignty, beauty, immortality, eroticism, and hidden knowledge. You may know Her as Inanna, Ishtar, Lilith, Semiramis, Theodora, or Jadis the White Witch, among many other Faces ancient and modern.

Priestess in Progress is a blog about building a devotional Pagan life under the guidance of a living Goddess—outside any formal tradition, but grounded in direct experience, reflection, and emerging theology.

It’s an archive of insights and lessons from my solitary, eclectic, deity-centered path.

My aim is to create the kind of site I would love to read: a lucid, honest account of what devotional Pagan theology and practice can look like in the twenty-first century.

I’m lesbian, diagnosed autistic, and (for those interested) INTJ and somewhere between Enneatype 4 and 5. I work as a freelance fiction developmental editor and occasionally as a sensual massage therapist for women. Originally from South Florida, I’ve lived in the US, Japan, and the UK and now reside in the heart of Liverpool, UK, with my partner and mountains of books.

My current creative project is A High and Lonely Destiny, a book-length biography of Narnia’s Jadis (the White Witch), one of the Faces of my Goddess. Look for the link here in late 2026!
